A wolf howled forlornly at the moon and Dominum looked up. Was it truly a wolf or a signal? Glancing around cautiously, he howled back, warbling up and down the scale. Silence for a moment. Maybe it was a wolf and he had given himself away. But in a few moments, the howl came back, loud, low and long. It was a signal! Scrabbling quietly up the cliff side, Dominum looked around for the signaler. It was Wayvrn.
"Dominum!" he whispered urgently, "Proditor is on the lookout for you!"
Dominum sighed wearily as the breeze tousled his shaggy brown hair. "So I've noticed

Early next morning, Kali woke up. Pushing the skin blanket off, she looked around. Natal was awake and poring over his map and his prophecy. Getting to her feet, she saw that Shyress was still sleeping. "Market Day!" she sang out. No response. Scowling slightly, Kali kicked at the sleeping Shyress lump. "OOWWWW!" Shyress howled. She finally emerged from under the skin. Leaving Shyress to tend for her bruised shins, Kali went over to the table and glanced at Natal's papers. Nothing new there Kali thought as she grabbed the basket off the table.
She whisked out the door and around the

The sack was full of tiny hand-carved figurines. Dragons, centaurs, unicorns, bicorns, tricorns, tieels, thayels, griffins, phoenixes, the list went on. Natal peeked in the sack as well. He gasped and drew out a little figure holding a two-handed sword, a very familiar figure. "Is that, me?"
Prying the carving from Natals hand Shyress scowled and answered, "Well, at the very least, you were the model for it."
Kalis eyes widened suddenly. "Does that mean that there is one based on me?" Shyress nodded and dug around in the sack. In a moment, she drew out a little carving of a girl with her hair swishing around her like she had turned quickl

"Okay, here's the plan." Herodian ushered them closer. "Natal, Tavian, Rascal? You go to the front gate and cause a distraction."
"Can I use ."? Natal started.
"NO! No explosives Natal!" Natal pouted. Herodian glared at him and turned back to the others, continuing his instructions. "Meanwhile, Shyress? You go get the key and bring it back to us. Kali and I will find the cage, and Shyress will open it. Then, with the Windstalker out, we run like fury for the river, got it? If one of us gets captured shout code word 'Leonardo Dicaprio' and if someone is wounded shout code word 'Abe Lincoln'. "
"Do you even know what those words mean H

Shyress grabbed her hair in frustration and exasperation. " Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no!What are we going to do? If that creature got a hold of Kali and Herodian, who knows what they did to them!"
A small cry of pain and an apology made them all turn towards the huge doors. Two figures were coming towards them, one hobbling and the other supporting the first.
It was Herodian, with Kali hanging on his shoulder. Kali pointed towards the gated and shouted, "Quick! Go, go, GO!!"
No further urging was required. Shyress, Natal, Tavian and the Windstalker turned and charged towards the gate

Who's going to take care of the dragons this morning?" Ecker shouted from down the hall.
"Why don't you girls do it!" yelled back Natal. He was starting to get really annoyed with the girls no really doing anything. "Kali isn't here to do it for you this time!"
Tavian whispered to Herodian as they walked out of bed. They both started laughing at something. Natal was too scared to ask, so he just stayed quiet.
As they all walked down, the guys each gra
